LID is so excited to host our 5th Annual Multicultural Education Conference virtually this fall!
November 7th, 2020 | 9am-2:30pm
November 7th, 2020 | 9am-2:30pm
Our theme this year, Reframing the Picture: A New Vision for Our Students, was inspired by the start of a new decade.
Being that it is 2020, we wanted to connect the phrase “2020 vision” to the theme of our conference. As we thought deeper about 2020 vision, we saw it as an opportunity to focus our attention on the importance of student voice and identity. The aim of our conference is to uplift and provide clarity to educators and professionals in the field of education. This is a conference for professionals in the education field, current students in teacher prep programs and those interested in the field of education. The conference will open with remarks from our keynote speaker, Dr. Gholdy Muhammad. Attendees will have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions on a variety of topics related to multicultural education and culturally responsive teaching. Please share this event with those who might be interested, as this is a great opportunity for personal growth and professional development!
